This was a logo I made for an artist guild called Zuka. Many of the artists in the group usually utilize acrylic paint so I tried to express that look in the design. First I just started moving shapes and objects around in a program called inkscape then used the pathfinder tool to imprint the Z in the middle of the icon. On the black side of the icon I sprinkled dots all around it to make it look like splattered paint.
